Abington Concludes Season at St. Mary’s

St. Mary's City, Md. – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team concluded its season with a United East Conference (UEC) match against St. Mary's College (Md.) on Saturday afternoon at Somerset Tennis Complex.  The Seahawks defeated the Nittany Lions, 7-0.

How It Happened
 
* St. Mary's opened with the team point in doubles action as the Seahawks won first and second doubles by identical 6-0 scores.  St. Mary's also won third doubles by default.
 
* In singles action, senior Soniyah Youngblood recorded the team's lone game victories with two in the second set of her second singles match against Sarah Levit in her final match of her career.
 
All-Time Series
Today marked the seventh meeting between Abington and St. Mary's since the start of the 2021-22 season.  The Nittany Lions are now 0-7 versus the Seahawks in the all-time series.
