How It Happened (Game 1)

* Senior Zach Bauers gave Abington a 1-0 lead in the first with a two-out run scoring double that scored junior Akira Nakamura.  The lead would be short lived as Wilson tied the game at 1-1 with a run in the second after a Tyler O'Brien run scoring double.  In the third, the Phoenix grabbed their first lead of the game after plating two runs in the inning to take a 3-1 advantage.

* The score remained 3-1 until the bottom of the sixth when the Abington offense erupted for eight runs. The Nittany Lions sent 12 batters to the plate and recorded eight hits in the frame.  Junior Donato Incollingo gave Abington a 4-3 lead with a two-run homer early in the inning.  Freshman John Busco also drove in a pair of runs as he connected on a two-run double.  Bauers went 2-for-2 in the inning with a run scoring triple in his first at-bat and then singled through the left side in his second at-bat.

* Both teams scored a run in the eighth.  Busco hit a solo home run to give Abington a 10-4 lead.  It marked his team-leading eighth homer of the season.
