How It Happened

* The Nittany Lions doubled their lead in the 40th minute after freshman Jada Rawls-Irizarry found the back of the net for her first collegiate goal.  Just over a minute later, Abington increased its lead to 3-0 after Frank tacked on a score off an assist from senior Sara Hogan.

* In the second half, the Cairn offense pressured the Nittany Lions firing off nine shots, including five on-goal.  Senior goalkeeper Kayla Kulp stopped all five of those shots to preserve the shutout.  The Highlanders finished the game with 14 shots, while Abington fired off 10 shots.
