Madison, N.J. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest at FDU-Florham by the score of 6-0 in a non-conference contest on Thursday evening at Robert T. Shields Field.

How It Happened
 
* The Devils had three players score two goals apiece in the game, including Leila Duffie who tallied a pair of goals within the first eight minutes of the game.  Duffie connected on goals in the third and eighth minutes. 
 
* Anna Kotaska gave the Devils a 3-0 lead right before the half with her first of two scores in the 45th minute. Kotaska also scored in the 66th minute of the second half.
 
* In the second half, Selena Rivera tallied back-to-back goals less than a minute apart to increase the lead to 5-0.  Rivera scored her first goal in the 57th minute.
 
Inside the Box Score
 
* Junior Meghan McGinly and freshman Jada Rawls-Irizarry each had two shots for the Nittany Lions. 
 
* Junior Sam Ridler recorded 10 saves in net.
 
All-Time Series
Tonight marked the first-ever meeting between Abington and FDU-Florham.
 
Next Up
Abington returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 5 as the Nittany Lions host Eastern University in a non-conference contest in the team's home opener at Memorial Field.  Game time is set for 1 p.m.
