Bill Parave

  • Title
    Assistant Baseball Coach
Bill joined Coach Pavlow’s staff in 2014 after two outstanding years as a member of the Penn State Abington Baseball team. Bill began his college career at Camden County Community College where he had immediate success hitting over .400 and earning 1st Team All-Conference honors, as well as 1st Team All-Region honors. The same success continued at Penn State Abington and then some, as Bill again achieved 1st Team All NEAC honors, and 1st Team All Mid-Atlantic Region honors, to go along with being named Honorable Mention All-American.

At Penn State Abington, Bill played outstanding defense at both corner infield positions and was heavily relied upon in the middle of the lineup and the rotation. During his senior season, Bill led a talented 1st place Penn State Abington team in batting average (.399) and homeruns (3), while also ranking 2nd in hits (57), as well as 2nd in ERA (3.03).  Bill was a do-it-all type player and leader on arguably one of the best teams in Penn State Abington Baseball history. As a high baseball IQ guy, coupled with a wealth of experience and success, Bill continues to prove invaluable to the Penn State Abington Baseball Program now as a member of the coaching staff.
