Reading, Pa. - For the second consecutive season, the Penn State Abington women's soccer team will be playing for the NEAC Championship. The No. 2 seeded Nittany Lions defeated No. 6 Cazenovia 6-0 Saturday afternoon.
Mallory Mugnier (Glenside, Pa.) would put the Nittany Lions up 1-0 just seven minutes into the game. 
Ashlee Kohn (Bensalem, Pa.) drew an assist on the play. A little less than two minutes later, Abington would extend their lead to 2-0 courtesy of 
Elizabeth Jones (Philadelphia, Pa.) 
Off a 
Victoria Parker (Philadelphia, Pa.) corner, Jones deflected the ball past Cazenovia keeper Kara Locey for the two goal lead.
Abington's offense would continue to pour it on as 
Megan Murphy (Warminster, Pa.) would jump in on the scoring action to make it 3-0 Nittany Lions in the 26
th minute, and Mugnier would add her second of the game in 38
th minute to make it 4-0 Abington.  
Abington outshot Cazenovia 13-4 in the first half. 
Margaret Sheridan (Horsham, Pa.) had three saves.
Michelle Latronica (Philadelphia, Pa.) would score in the 80
th minute to give Abington a five goal lead. 
Kayla Nolan (Abington, Pa.) would register an assist on Latronica's goal. 
Megan Murphy would tally her second goal of the game in the 89
th minute.
Abington outshot Cazenovia 26-9 for the game, while Sheridan made six saves.
Abington will play No. 1 seeded Penn State Berks tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. in a re-match of last year's title game. Berks defeated SUNYIT 4-0 in the other semifinal matchup earlier today. Abington lost to Berks 4-0 in last year's championship game, and were defeated by Berks 8-2 earlier this season. Live stats can be found on Berks' tournament central page
