COBLESKILL, N.Y. – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team closed out North Eastern Athletic Conference Crossover play Saturday, with a loss to Keuka College.
The Nittany Lions took on the Wolfpack, losing in four sets, 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22.
The loss puts Abington at 2-1 in conference play and 5-8 on the year, while Keuka swept all three contests on the weekend to go 3-0 in the NEAC and 3-8 overall.
Sophomores
Sam Amaro (Philadelphia, Pa.) and
Rachel Bohl (Philadelphia, Pa.) both recorded their third consecutive double-doubles with both players posting 13 kills and 13 digs apiece.
Sophomore setter
Cricket Lennon (Bethlehem, Pa.) tallied 36 assists, while teammate
Victoria Lohman (Frederick, Md.) came up with 32 digs to finish the weekend with 8.88 digs per set.
As a team, the Nittany Lions registered 37 kills on 133 total attacks with only 18 errors.
Abington will continue conference play on the road on Tuesday, Sept. 23 as the Blue and White takes on Bryn Athyn College for a 7 p.m. contest.
