MORRISTOWN, NJ – Seven Penn State Abington women's soccer players recorded goals in the 7-0 shutout of the College of Saint Elizabeth Wednesday afternoon. The game was called in the 70
th minute due to the pouring rain.

The Nittany Lions improve to 12-4 overall and 10-1 in conference, with the win the Nittany Lions secure the second seed in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament.

Abington has now recorded nine shutouts this season, tied for the most since the Nittany Lions joined the NEAC.

Haley Keller (Philadelphia, PA) opened the scoring in the 1
st minute as she was assisted by
Desirae Holmes (Philadelphia, PA). Holmes later added a goal of her own in the 36
th minute.

The Nittany Lions scored all their goals in the first half, with
Sarah Eisele (Langhorne, PA),
Ashley Quenzer (Philadelphia, PA) and
Emily Polcino (Warrington, PA) all recording their first goals of the season in the 3
rd, 30

th minute.

Emily Kennedy (Montgomeryville, PA) added her 14
th goal of the season in the 39

The Nittany Lions will celebrate senior day when they host Penn College on October 31 at 3 p.m. for their final game of the season.
