UTHICA, NY – Sophomore Emily Kennedy (Montgomeryville, Pa.) scored her fifth and sixth goal of the season to push the Penn State Abington women's soccer team past SUNY Poly 2-0,  Saturday afternoon.
 
The Nittany Lions improve to 5-3 and 3-1 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference while SUNY Poly drops to 5-2-2 and 3-1-1 in conference.
 
Kennedy's stellar season brings her within one point of cracking the top ten single season in points with 16 from six goals and four assists.
 
The sophomore forward scored her first goal in the 25^th minute and her second goal in the 88^th minute to seal the match for the Nittany Lions.
 
The Nittany Lions continue their road trip as they travel to SUNY Cobleskill tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
