LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team snapped its winless streak with a 3-0 shutout of Cairn University, Friday Night.
 
The Nittany Lions improve to 8-19 while the Highlanders remain winless at 0-21.
 
Sophomore Sam Amaro (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the Nittany Lions with seven kills and 16 digs for the evening while freshman Jessica Laychock (Philadelphia, Pa.) racked up 11 assists. Freshman Maddi Richards (Warminster, Pa.) served up eight aces against the Highlanders.
 
The Nittany Lions will finish their season when they travel to Bryn Mawr tomorrow when they face off against the College of Staten Island at 1:00 p.m. and host Bryn Mawr at 3:00 p.m.
