COBLESKILL, NY – Two goals from
Richard Domico (Langhorne, Pa.) helped the Penn State Abington Nittany Lions get back on track with a 2-1 overtime win over SUNY Cobleskill, on Sunday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions improve to 6-4 on the season and 4-2 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference, while SUNY Cobleskill remains winless at 0-9 and 0-5 in the conference.
Domico notched his fifth goal of the season in the 13
th minute, where he finished his shot off a corner kick assisted by
Santiago Garcia (Philadelphia, Pa.).
The Fighting Tigers equalized late in the game, in the 81
st minute, when David Vosatka scored off a corner kick.
Five minutes into overtime, Domico scored the game winner when he slotted home a loose ball in the box.
The Nittany Lions will return to the field when they host NEAC opponent Cazenovia on Saturday October 10, at 2:00 p.m.
