Men's Basketball Dominate on Senior Night

ABINGTON, Pa – On his final game of career, Max Alton (Pennington, N.J.) knocked down 23 points and led the Abington men's basketball team to a commanding 94-75 win over Penn College, Friday night.

The men's basketball program honored Alton and junior Alex Agyedu (Bensalem, Pa.) for graduating from Penn State Abington.

Abington finished the regular season 9-16 and 8-10 in the NEAC. With the win the Nittany Lions stay alive in the hunt for the NEAC tournament.

Dequan Jackson opened the game with a layup and Abington never looked back, as they held the lead for the entirety of the game.

All five of Abington's starters hit double-digits scoring from the floor.

The Nittany Lions dominated from behind the arc, hitting 14-0f-32 (44%) and held the Wildcats to only 7-of-21 (33%).

A key to Abington's success stemmed from turning turnovers into points, as they converted 15 points from 15 turnovers.

The men finish their season on a high note as they await the results of Penn State Berks to see if they will return to the NEAC tournament for the third year in a row.
