ABINGTON, Pa - Sophomore guard
Dequan Jackson knocked down 27 points for the Abington men's basketball team, but it wasn't enough, falling to SUNY Poly, 72-59.

With it's second straight conference loss, Abington drops to 7-12 and 6-6 in the NEAC, while SUNY Poly improves to 7-12 and 6-5 in conference.

In the first half both teams battled keeping the game close, but a 10-0 run in the final five minutes by the Wildcats gave them a 32-26 lead going into the break. In the second half the Nittany Lions couldn't cut into the lead losing their second straight conference game.

Abington was led by Jackson, who hit 9-of-14 of his shots for 27 points and contributed five rebounds.
Max Alton also chipped in 18 points on the afternoon.

The Nittnay Lions were beaten off the boards, being out-rebounded 43-28 by the Wildcats.

Abington returns to action tomorrow against SUNY Cobleskill at 2:00 PM.
