Abington, Pa.- The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team struggled on a sunny Saturday afternoon, as they fell to Morrisville State 20-2.
 
Abington only managed two goals in the game with both coming from senior Katelyn Haas (Lower Moreland, Pa.)
 
Morrisville was led by Hunter Waldau as she had five goals on the game. Shelby Wood added five goals of her own while DeeAnna Rammelt had three goals for the Mustangs.
 
Morrisville State came out firing in the first half scoring eleven unanswered goals before Haas found the net at the 10:09 mark to put Abington on the board. Haas would add one more goal before the half ended.
 
Morrisville took an 11-2 lead into the break.
 
The Mustangs dominated the second half tallying nine more goals while shutting out Abington. The Blue and White had just eight shots total.
 
Abington (3-4, 2-1 NEAC) will look to bounce back tomorrow as they host Cazenovia College. The game is slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. at Abington Memorial Field.
