Abington, Pa.- The Penn State Abington softball team won a pair of conference games Saturday afternoon against the College of Saint Elizabeth.

Abington took game one 6-1, and took game two 12-5.

In game one, CSE would jump out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning as Christina Scolaro singled to centerfield scoring Valerie Lasko.

The Nittany Lions would respond in the bottom of the fourth inning as
Nicole Battaglio (King of Prussia, Pa.) singled to right field scoring both
Emily Mattes (Middletown, Pa.) and
Sheila O'Hagan (Willow Grove, Pa.) to give Abington a 2-1 lead.

Ashley Quenzer (Philadelphia, Pa.) then had an RBI groundout which scored
Whitney DeLagol to give Abington a 3-1 lead.

The Blue and White would put up another three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 6-1 lead.
Sheila O'Hagan provided the big hit in the inning with a three-run homerun to left field.

O'Hagan was 2-for-3 in game one with three RBI's.
Emily Wrenn (Hatboro, Pa.) picked up her fifth victory of the season going seven innings while striking out six.

In game two, Abington fell behind 3-0 in the top of the first inning as both Alesandria DeSapio and Kayla Gonzalez had RBI's for CSE.

CSE would tack on another run in the top of the second inning to take a 4-0 lead.
Â
Abington would then respond in a big way in the bottom of the second inning.

Both
Danielle Jones (Levittown, Pa.) and
Greta Sheridan (Horsham, Pa.) had two RBI's in the inning. Sheridan would also score on a wild pitch, and
Michaela Drogalis (Croydon, Pa.) walked with the bases loaded which scored
Whitney DeLagol.

Abington now led 6-4.

Sheridan once again would get an RBI, this time in the bottom of the third inning, as she flied out centerfield scoring
Danielle Jones.

Each team would score runs in the fifth inning, but Abington would put the game out of reach in the bottom of the sixth scoring four runs to take the commanding 12-5 lead.

Both Jones and Sheridan had three RBI's in game two.

Michaela Drogalis picked up her fifth win of the season going seven innings while striking out three. Â

Abington (13-8-1, 10-4 NEAC) will return to action tomorrow as they travel to Lancaster, Pa. to take on non-conference opponent Franklin and Marshall. Game one is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. while game two is slated to start at 3:00 p.m.Â
