Abington, Pa.- The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team dropped a conference matchup Tuesday afternoon against Keuka College, 20-1.
Abington managed just one goal in the game coming from
Chasidy McLaurin (Philadelphia, Pa.) at 16:10 of the second half.
Keuka was led by Sydney Forshay as she tallied five goals in the game. Samantha Staino and Kaycee Maguire each had three goals for the Wolfpack.
Keuka came out firing in the first half scoring fourteen unanswered goals to take a 14-0 lead into the break.
The Wolfpack dominated the second half tallying six more goals while giving up just the lone goal to McLaurin. That was McLaurin's 16
th goal of the season. The Blue and White had just eight shots total.
Abington (4-7, 3-4 NEAC) will return to action this Friday, April 24, as they will travel to Buffalo, N.Y. to square off against Medaille College. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
