ABINGTON, Pa.- The Abington women's volleyball team pushed to make a comeback in the fourth set but Arcadia finished off the Nittany Lions to win 3-1 (11-25, 19-25, 27-25, 18-25) Tuesday night.

Catherine Zhushma led Abington with 23 digs for the evening.
After dropping the first two sets, Abington looked to be finished when Arcadia took a commanding 8-1 lead in the third set. Down 20 – 14 Abington rallied back behind
Andia Anderson's lighting service, bringing them within two points. The Knights pulled a few more points, sitting on match point (24-21), when the Nittany Lions went on a 6-1 rally to take the crucial third set.
In close battle for the fourth set, Arcadia held a slight lead over Abington 19-17, but a strong 6-1 run finished off the Nittany Lions comeback hopes.
The Nittany Lions will travel to Kings College on Friday where they will face off against Penn College at 5:00 p.m. and the host Kings at 7:00 p.m.
