WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – In a tri-match hosted by Kings College (4-0) the Abington women's volleyball team (1-2) split two games, taking a win in game one over Penn College (0-3) 3-1, but falling in game two to the host, 3-0.

The Nittany Lions topped Penn College 25-13, 24-26, 25-16, 25-17 before dropping three straight to Kings College 8-25, 22-25, 9-25.

Sam Amaro (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the Blue and White with 21 kills, and 11 digs, while freshman Maddi Richards (Warminster, PA) came up with 24 digs, 10 kills and three service aces in both games.

Tomorrow the Nittany Lions will continue their road trip to Centenary College as they take on the hosts and Manhattanville College at 1:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
