HACKETTSTOWN, NJ – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team (2-3) traveled to Centenary College for their second tri-match two days and came away with a split, Saturday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions won game one over the host Centenary College (0-3) in three sets 25-23, 25-21, 25-15 but dropped three sets to Manhattanville (2-0) 25-15, 25-21, and 25-16.
Sam Amaro (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the Nittany Lions with 15 kills and 19 digs in both games. Â Freshman libero
Catherine Zhushma (Warminster, Pa.) added 20 digs between both matches.
Abington will travel to Gwynedd Mercy University to face the Griffins on Thursday September 10, at 7:00 p.m.
