ABINGTON, Pa. – In the final home game of the season the SUNY Poly Wildcats played the spoiler and pulled the upset against the Penn State Abington men's soccer team 2-0, on Sunday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions fall for the first time in conference at 7-1 and 8-2 overall.

Richard Domico (Langhorne, Pa.) was honored during halftime for his outstanding career for the Blue and White.

Abington dominated possession and pressed the Wildcats with 23 shots and 10 on target, but couldn't find the back of the net.

For the Wildcats, Nick McBride netted two goals by taking advantage of defensive miscues to hand the Nittany Lions their first conference loss of the season.

The Nittany Lions will begin a five game road trip to end the season, with Morrisville State on Saturday October, 8 at 3:00 p.m.
