Nittany Lions Shut Down by Berks, 7-1

READING, Pa. – With the top seed in the NEAC up for grabs, the Penn State Abington men's soccer team couldn't get past rival Penn State Berks as they fell 7-1 on Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions finish the regular season with their best record since 2012 with an 11-3-1 record overall and a 10-2-1 mark in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.

The lone goal for Abington came in the 88th minute when junior Marco Martins (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) scored his first career goal with Penn State Abington by converting a penalty kick.

Abington will host the NEAC first round of the playoffs on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. when the Nittany Lions will look for revenge against SUNY Poly.
