MORRISVILLE, NY. – The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team traveled to Morrisville State and fell to the Mustangs 17-5 on Saturday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions drop to 2-8 overall and 1-4 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
The Mustangs were first on the board with three consecutive goals in the first five minutes. Momentum shifted to the Nittany Lions when

Chasidy McLaurin (Philadelphia, Pa.) and
Mallory Mugnier (Abington, Pa.) knotted the game to a 3-3 tie. Morrisville State pulled ahead with ten unanswered goals before halftime.
Abington tightened up its defense in the second half and only allowed four goals. Mugnier and Mast each added goals in the final minutes of the game, but it wasn't enough.
