GLENSIDE, Pa. – Senior Sam Amaro (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the attack for the Nittany Lions with 12 kills but the Penn State Abington women's volleyball team was swept 3-0 by Arcadia on Thursday night.

The Nittany Lions progressively improved over the night with a 25-12 loss in game one, a 25-17 defeat in the second game, and a close 25-22 decision in game three.

Sophomore Cori Watson (Souderton, Pa.) set up the attack with 13 assists, while sophomore Maddi Richard (Warminster, Pa.) led the Nittany Lions defensively with 10 digs for the night.

Abington will host its first tri-match tomorrow with Kings College at 3:00 p.m. and Brooklyn College at 7:00 p.m.
