ABINGTON, Pa. – Sophomore midfielder
Joowan Jeong (Seoue, South Korea) scored his first collegiate goal, and added two more to earn the hat-trick as the Penn State Abington men's soccer team topped the College of Saint Elizabeth 10-0, on Sunday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions continue to roll with their fourth consecutive win, with a 4-1 record overall and 3-0 mark in the North Eastern Athletic Conference. During their streak, the Nittany Lions have outscored their opponents 17-1 in their four wins.
Sophomore
Hernando Villamil (Philadelphia, Pa.) improved his scoring streak to four games as he scored his sixth and seventh goal of the season. His seven goals leads the NEAC and is four goals ahead of the next player. Villamil is on pace to challenge Elsion Pajollar's single season record of 23 goals in one season, scoring a goal once every 35 minutes on the field.
Senior forward
Richard Domico (Langhorne, Pa.) added two goals to bring his season tally to three and added one assist for the day.
Arjol Shpuza (Philadelphia, Pa.) earned his first career brace with goals in the 26
th and 28
th minute of the game and freshman
Stefan Koprivica (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored his first career goal for Penn State Abington in the 58
th minute.
The Nittany Lions will look to stay undefeated in the conference when they host Wilson College on Saturday September 17, at 3:00 p.m.
