BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – An early goal from Greta Sheridan (Horsham, Pa.) set the tone as the Penn State Abington women's soccer team blanked its cross-town rivals Bryn Athyn 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions improve 5-2 overall and creep up the NEAC standings at 4-2 in the conference.

Sheridan kicked off the scoring in the 4^th minute when the Nittany Lions earned a corner kick, and the junior defender headed it in the net for her third goal of the year.

The Lions held the Nittany Lions until the 39^th minute when Jill Osborn (Philadelphia, Pa.) notched her first goal of the season to make it 2-0 for Abington.

In the 68^th minute Michelle Latronica (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored her NEAC leading 8^th goal of the season to seal the game.

Abington will return home when they host SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
