Nittany Lions Can't Hold on Against Wilson, 86-81

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Junior guard Kenny Bey-Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored a season high 23 points, but it was not enough to hold on. The Penn State Abington men's basketball team fell to Wilson College 86-81 on Tuesday evening. Abington falls to 4-6 overall and 3-2 in the conference.

Freshman John Ryan (Philadelphia, Pa.) chipped in 20 points with a strong 14 point first half.

The Nittany Lions pulled ahead early in the first half with clutch shooting from behind the arc. Bey-Brown, Ryan, and sophomore Momolu Dorley (Trenton, NJ) led the charge with a pair of three-pointers for each of them. The Nittany Lions pushed the rock with 12 assists in the half and only three turnovers.

Abington held the advantage at the half, but the Phoenix clawed their way back and took the lead with only three minutes left in the game.  The Nittany Lions couldn't retake the lead in the final minutes.

Next the Nittany Lions will face off against Gallaudet University on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
