BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – A slow start for the Nittany Lions, led to their 82-54 loss to cross town rival Bryn Athyn on Saturday afternoon. Abington falls to 7-10 overall and 6-6 in the conference.
In the first half the Nittany Lions struggled shooting with 22 percent from the floor and only made one of their ten shots from behind the arc. Freshman
John Ryan (Warminster, Pa.) led the team with nine points in the first half.
Abington struggled in the second half to shoot from three with only 2-of-13 made from behind the arc.
Austin Slawter (Philadelphia, Pa.) bounced back after a tough first half and led the second half scorers with 13 points, but Abington couldn't rally against the Lions.
The Nittany Lions will be back on the court when they host Gallaudet on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
