CHESTER, Pa. – Junior goalkeeper Samantha Friend (Philadelphia, Pa.) made 13 saves, but it wasn't enough to hold back Widener in an 8-0 loss on Wednesday afternoon. The Nittany Lions finish off their non-conference slate with a 4-7 record overall.

The pride dominated the attack with 43 shots and suffocated the Nittany Lions attack. Widener netted goals in the 9^th, 12^th, 25^th, 34^th, and 40^th minute in the first half. In the second Abington held off the hosts until the 64^th minute when the Pride netted their first of three goals in the half.

Abington will look to rebound when they host Gallaudet for a critical conference match this Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
