ABINGTON, Pa. – With only minutes left remaining on the clock in second overtime,
Haley Miller (Hatfield, Pa.) netted the game winning goal over Gallaudet in a critical 3-2 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions improve to 5-7 overall and earn an important conference win at 3-2 in the NEAC.
Miller scored one of the quickest goals in program history with only 1:23 off the clock Miller cut in from the right win and beat the keeper to the low right post to give the Nittany Lions the 1-0 lead. Later in the half senior

Greta Sheridan (Horsham, Pa.) off her corner kick finished with a perfect header by the senior defender. The Bison wouldn't go down quietly and netted their first goal when Brittany Mallach cut through the defense and beat the keeper for her NEAC leading 16
th goal of the season.
In the second half Gallaudet pressed the Nittany Lions and broke through when Danielle Wheeler lined her shot just over the keeper's hands. As time expired junior Goalkeeper
Samantha Friend (Philadelphia, Pa.) made a huge save as time expired to deny the Bison and push the game into overtime.
In the final overtime period, Latronica slotted a perfect through ball to Miller where the sophomore forward finished her shot to win the match.
