BRYN ATHYN, PA. – Junior
Andia Anderson (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded a season high 16 kills in a thrilling 3-2 come from behind win over rival Bryn Athyn on Wednesday night. The Nittany Lions snapped their four game losing streak with a critical conference win to improve to 7-9 overall and 3-1 in the conference.

Cortney Schwar (Annandale, NJ) aided the Nittany Lions with 25 assists.
The Nittany Lions held a lead in the first set, but the Lions stole momentum and tied the game at 21-21 and Bryn Athyn pulled away to take a 1-0 advantage. Abington shook off the first set earning a dominate win in the second set with a 25-13 decision. Only two points away  from the win the Nittany Lions squandered a 23-14 lead as Bryn Athyn stormed back with 11 consecutive points to win the third set and take a 2-1 lead. After the late collapse in the previous set, the Nittany Lions rebounded with a 25-14 win in the fourth set to tie the match and force a fifth set. Abington jumped out to an early lead in the fifth set and held on to a 15-10 win to clinch the match.
Abington will hit the road to New York where they will face off against York College on Friday night at 6:00 p.m.
