KEUKA PARK, NY – The Penn State Abington men's soccer team picked up a big conference win with a 2-0 shutout of Keuka College on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions improve to 5-6 for the season and remain undefeated in the conference at 3-0.
Sophomore
Ty Morris (Flemington, NJ) made six clutch saves so keep the first clean sheet of the season for the Nittany Lions. The Wolves outshot the Nittany Lions, but Abington made theirs count.
In the first few minutes of the game sophomore defender
Jake Kemery earned his first goal of the season. In the second half, junior forward
Hernando Villamil (Philadelphia, Pa.) finally netted his firsts goal of the season when he converted a penalty in the 62
nd minute for his 16
th career goal.
Abington will be back in action tomorrow when they travel to Wells College for an important conference clash at noon tomorrow.
