ABINGTON, PA. - Five goals from
Melissa Felicetti (Willow Grove, Pa.) helped the Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team to a huge 20-7 win over Bryn Athyn on Thursday afternoon. The Nittany Lions sit a top of the conference standings with a 6-0 record overall and 2-0 in the conference.

Molly Wyman (Abington, Pa.), freshman
Veronica Baez (Hatboro, Pa.) and
Alynn Phelan (Philadelphia, Pa.) all netted four goals for each in todays win. In the field
Marah Hayes (Churchville, Pa.) racked up 10 draw controls, nine ground balls and caused six turnovers for the afternoon.
Wyman kicked off the game with a goal in the first thirty seconds to set the tone. Felicetti added two more goals over the next few minutes but Bryn Athyn kept the game close with a goal of its own.  The Lions Hannah Bracey kept the visitors within reach of the Nittany Lions scoring three goals for Bryn Athyn, but Abington pulled ahead with four consecutive goals. Phelan closed out the first half with a goal right before the final whistle at 13 seconds.Â
Leading 10-4 after the break the Nittany Lions put their foot on the gas with another four goals within the first four minutes of action. The Lions chipped away at the double-digit lead with a pair of goals in the second half, but it wasn't enough to overcome. Abington netted another six goals from five different players through the end of the second half.
