ST. DAVIDS, Pa. -Â The Penn State Abington men's soccer team traveled to Eastern University, but couldn't come away with the win, falling to the Eagles 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon. After the loss, the Nittany Lions drop to 2-5 for the season.
The Eagles were first on the board in the 24
th minute when Sam Sutherland netted the first goal to give Eastern the 1-0 advantage. In the 33
rd minute Cade Harmon doubled the Eagles lead.
In the second half
Thomas Vessels tested the goal keeper, but couldn't get the ball in the net as the Eagles stymied the Nittany Lions attack.
Abington will open their conference slate when they travel to Wilson College on Saturday September 23
, at 1:00 p.m.
