CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – A brace from senior defender Greta Sheridan (Horsham, Pa.) helped the Nittany Lions to a 3-0 shutout win over conference foe Wilson College on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions improve to 2-4 overall and 1-0 in the NEAC for the season.

The Nittany Lions dominated the attack outshooting the Phoenix 28-5. Abington's first goal came in the 36^th minute when Sheridan headed the ball inside the near post off the corner.

In the second half Sheridan completed the brace with her second goal right out of the gate. In the 46^th minute the senior defender put away a rebounded shot from Haley Miller (Hatfield, Pa.) for her second goal of the game.  Miller finally got her goal in the 61^st minute to put the game out of reach for Wilson College.

The Nittany Lions game against Widener tomorrow has been postponed, but Abington will be back in action when they host cross town rival Bryn Athyn College on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
