ABINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team hosted cross town rival Bryn Athyn but the visitors walked away with a 2-0 win on Tuesday afternoon. The Nittany Lions fall to 2-5 for the season and 1-1 in the conference.

The Nittany Lions tested Bryn Athyn early with three shots in the first few minutes, including a curling shot from Michelle Latronica (Philadelphia, Pa.) that went off the post. In the 13^th minute the Lions got on the board off a corner kick that was slotted in the far post. Abington kept the pressure on but Bryn Athyn held a 1-0 lead into the break.

Right out of the gate Bryn Athyn added to their lead with another goal in the 48^th minute and the Nittany Lions couldn't respond.

Abington hits the road when they travel to Cairn University on October 5^th.
