SWARTHMORE, PA. – The Penn State Abington men's soccer team faced off against Centenial Conference power Swarthmore College, but fell to the Garnet, 4-1 Wednesday night. After the loss the Nittany Lions fall to 9-4 for the season.
It didn't take long for the Garnet to get onto the board with only 59 seconds off the clock. Abington immediately responded with a goal from
Sebastian Krysztofowicz (Doylestown, PA) in the third minute of the game.
The Nittany Lions held off the Garnet until the 72
nd minute in the second half. Swarthmore netted three goals in the next ten minutes to put the match out of reach for Abington.
The Nittany Lions will return home and host Keuka College for their Pink game on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
