ABINGTON, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team snapped their losing streak with a big 3-1 win over Penn College on Wednesday night.

The Nittany Lions honored senior
Andia Anderson (Philadelphia, PA) for her outstanding career with the Nitany Lions in her final home match. The senior led the Nittany Lions in kills with 19 for the night.

Junior setter
Cortney Schwar (Annandale, NJ) hit a career milestone, with over 1000 career assists, and only 32 shy of setting a school record.

The Nittany Lions jumped out to an early lead with a 25-20 win in the first set. The Wildcats rallied to earn a point in the second set with a 25-18 decision over Abington. Down early in the third set the Nittany Lions persevered and won a clutch 25-22 victory over the Wildcats to lead the match 2-1.  A huge early run for the Nittany Lions helped them to the 25-17 win to clinch the match.

Abington will hit the road on Friday and face off against Bard College at 7:00 p.m.
