ABINGTON, PA – On senior day, the Penn State Abington men's soccer team wrapped up their season with a 7-0 win over the College of Saint Elizabeth on Friday afternoon. For the second season in a row the Nittany Lions remain perfect in the conference with a 10-0-1 record, and finish their season 12-5-1
Before the game the Nittany Lions honored seniors
Randy Valdes (Barronquilla, Colombia ),
Sean Seidenburg (Rockledge PA),
Dmitri Bourlako (Huntingdon Valley, PA),
Faysal Malik (Landsdale, PA), and
Arjol Shpuza (Philadelphia, PA) for their contribution to the program.
Sebastian Perkowski (Fountainville, PA) led the way for the Nittany Lions with two goals to bring his total to seven for the season. Â
The Nittany Lions had three newcomers to the score sheet with Shpuza,
Erik Suarez (Caracas, Venezuela), and
Matthew Bermeo (Philadelphia, PA) all netted their first goals of the season.
Sophomore
Jose Palomeque (Upper Dublin, PA) recorded his team leading eighth goal of the season.
Abington will play host to the NEAC Tournament for the second straight season, and will learn who they will face after the first round on Tuesday night.
