ABINGTON, PA- The Penn State Abington women's soccer team shut out Delaware Valley University on Wednesday afternoon, by defeating the Rams 1-0.

The Nittany Lions and the Rams battled fiercely in the first half, resulting in both teams going scoreless heading into halftime.

It wasn't until the 57th minute mark, when sophomore Pamela Blesi (Philadelphia, PA) found Taylor Perkowski (Collingswood, NJ) in the right corner of the box. Unstoppable Perkowski struck her shot to the left corner of the net, scoring past Del Val's goalkeeper. This was Perkowski's second goal of the season.

Abington will travel to New York on Saturday to face NEAC opponent Wells College for a 12pm match.
