AMBLER, PA – The Penn State Abington baseball team traveled to Arcadia University to continue their hot streak but were tripped up by the Knights in a 2-0 loss on Saturday afternoon. After the loss the Nittany Lions move to 8-7 for the season.
Freshman pitcher
Michael Riley (Stratford, NJ) had a solid outing despite the loss. On the mound the freshman struck out three batters and only surrendered three hits in five innings of work.
Abington could only get four hits at the plate, highlighted by a double to right center field by
Ryan McCarty (Yardley, PA).
The Nittany Lions will face a tough road test when they travel to No. 20 The College of New Jersey on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
