Nittany Lions Swept by Berks

READING, PA - The Penn State Abington softball team traveled to NEAC South power Penn State Berks, but were swept by the hosts on Saturday afternoon. Abington dropped the first game of the doubleheader 6-0, and lost game two 9-1.  After today the Nittany Lions fall to 6-14, and 5-5 in the NEAC.
 
Junior Becca Dougherty (Churchville, Pa.) earned two hits for the day, including an RBI triple in game two. Berks shut down Abington at the plate only surrendering two hits in both games.
 
Abington will be back action when they travel to Kings College on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
