GLENSIDE, PA – The Penn State Abington Softball team faced off against Arcadia University, but couldn't pull one away from the hosts, getting swept by the Knights. Abington fell in game one 2-0 and was shut out in game two 4-0.  After tonight the Nittany Lions fall to 6-16 for the season.
The Nittany Lions ripped off eight hits between both games, which included three doubles, but Abington struggled to get their runners across the plate.
Arcadia struggled at the plate in game one only recording two hits, but the Knights capitalized on an error to score.
In game two the Knights put the game out of reach with a two run home run in the third inning.
Abington will be on the road this weekend with their first stop at Morrisville State this Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
