READING, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team battled with Penn State Berks, but fell shy in a 7-2 loss to their rivals on Saturday afternoon. After the loss Abington falls to 2-6 for the season, and 1-1 in the NEAC.

Berks started the day by sweeping the visitors in doubles action.

Marta Tymchenko fought through to a come from behind, 0-6, 7-5, 15-13 win over Berks.

The Nittany Lions face Lancaster Bible after their match was rescheduled earlier in the season.
