GWYNEDD, PA – Sophomore Michael Litz (Huntingdon Valley, PA) posted a perfect 6-0,6-0 shutout and aided the Nittany Lions to their first win of the season with an 8-1 win decision over Gwynedd Mercy on Monday afternoon.  After today the Nittany Lions improve to 1-4 for the season.

In doubles action the Nittany Lions earned a tough 8-6 win at the top flight in doubles. Abington followed up with successive wins in the No. 2 position (8-0) and the No 3. Position (8-3).

Abington cruised through singles action with wins in the 1,3,4,5, and 6 position.

The Nittany Lions will open conference play on the road when they travel to Lancaster Bible on Saturday April 7, at 1:00 p.m.
