WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Penn State Abington men's tennis team closed out its NEAC slate with a heartbreaking 5-4 loss to Penn College on Saturday afternoon. After the loss the Nittany Lions fall to 5-6 for the season, and 3-2 in the NEAC.

At the top flight in doubles action Michael Litz (Huntingdon Valley, PA) and Brandon Zweiback (Elkins Park, PA) earned the Nittany Lions only point in doubles action.

In singles action the Nittany Lions took the top flight, but Ilker Erkut (Philadelphia, PA) battled to a 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 win at the second flight.  Zweiback earned the last point for the Nittany Lions at the third flight with a tough 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 win.

Abington will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they travel to Kings College at noon.
