WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team traveled to Kings College but dropped an 8-1 decision, on Sunday afternoon. The Nittany Lions fall to 5-7 for the year.
In doubles action the Nittany Lions dropped the first three points with an 8-2 loss at the top flight, 8-5 in the second doubles match and 8-2 in the third.
In singles, the lone point came from
Marta Tymchenko in a thrilling 6-7, 6-3, 10-7 win over the Monarchs Natalie Coffee.
Tomorrow the Nittany Lions will hit the court again at Cairn University at 5:00 p.m.
