Samantha Friend (Philadelphia, PA), the Neumann Knights defeated the Nittany Lions 3-0.

The Knights scored their first goal of the season within the first two minutes of the game by Freshman Kaitlin Thomas. The Knights continued to take the lead just shy of the 20-minute mark with their second goal of the game. After leading 2-0 at halftime, the Knights shot their third and final goal to capitalize the win.

Abington's freshman
Allyson Holtz (Philadelphia, PA) and
Taylor Perkowski (Collingswood, NJ) were not shy in their first collegiate appearance. They were the only two players who attempted Abington's 2 shots on goal in the first half. However, they were stopped by Attardi's perfect defense in between the posts. The Knights outshot the Nittany Lions 15-3.
