READING, PA – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team traveled to Penn State Berks for a tri-match with Notre Dame of Maryland, but Abington dropped both matches 3-0, on Saturday afternoon.
After the losses the Nittany Lions fall to 2-11 for the season.
Senior
Andia Anderson (Philadelphia, PA) led the Nittany Lions in kills with 20 total, and
Cortney Schwar (Annandale, NJ) finished the day with 22 assists.
Abington battled their Penn State rivals in the first match, but fell in three consecutive sets 25-20, 25-20, and 25-22. Later against Notre Dame, the Nittany Lions also fell in three straight sets 25-19, 25-14, and 25-9.
The Nittany Lions will look to rebound on the road when they face off against Rosemont College on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
