GLASSBORO, NJ – Sophomore
Elizabeth Erhart (Ciudad de Panama, Panama) was named to the Rowan All-Tournament team for her performance over the weekend, but the Penn State Abington women's volleyball dropped both matches on the final day. The Nittany Lions started the day with a 3-0 loss to Ursinus College, and dropped game two to Widener 3-0 to fall to 2-7 for the year.
Senior
Andia Anderson (Philadelphia, PA) earned 12 kills to lead the Nittany Lions attack and Ehart finished the day with four service aces.
Ursinus College controlled the first match with a 25-12 win in the first set, a 25-15 decision in the second set, and the Bears finished off the Nittany Lions in a 25-21 loss. Abington didn't fare much better in game two with Widener completing the sweep 25-13, 25-18, and 25-10.
The Nittany Lions will finish up their road stint at the College of Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
