CAZENOVIA, NY. – Two goals from junior
Sebastian Krysztofowicz led the Penn State Abington men's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout of Cazenovia College on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions improve to 6-4 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
Abington controlled the attack firing 22 shots with 12 on target for Cazenovia's goalkeeper to save.
Krystofowicz earned his fifth goal of the season in the 25
th minute after a great assist from
David Panea to give the Nittany Lions the 1-0 lead until halftime. The junior forward doubled the lead after being assisted by
Hernando Villamil for his sixth of the season.
After today Krystofowicz has scored 15 career goals to put him in the programs top seven all-time.
Abington will look to continue their hot streak when they face off against Morrisville State tomorrow afternoon at 12:00 p.m.
